Troubleshooting and tuning
Connect the symptom to the controls, drives, mechanics and setup. Make agreed corrections and check the machine under the relevant conditions.
Technical support & upgrades
A recurring fault, a difficult material, an unreliable setup or a planned upgrade. Work directly with me to establish the problem, agree the scope and carry the work through correction and testing.
Use the scope the machine needs
Connect the symptom to the controls, drives, mechanics and setup. Make agreed corrections and check the machine under the relevant conditions.
A sequence, recipe, diagnostic screen, feedback device or drive setting that gets in the way of reliable operation.
Work through whether the machine setup, control method or winding arrangement suits the material and the result the plant needs.
Plan and implement a supportable replacement when the existing architecture, hardware or information limits the machine.
How we work together
Video, drawings, controls files and machine data can help establish what to investigate. Scheduled remote work may include program review, diagnostics, test planning or changes coordinated with your qualified onsite team.
Hands-on investigation, physical checks, commissioning and operator development may require an onsite visit. Remote preparation can help define the work before that visit.
Remote work uses customer-approved access. Changes that can affect machine behavior require agreed procedures and qualified onsite coordination. Availability, response expectations and continuing coverage are arranged separately; this is not a staffed 24/7 help desk.
When a larger upgrade is the right answer
I can lead the agreed machine-and-controls work and coordinate with your people, selected suppliers and qualified installation contractors.
Installation, specialist engineering, third-party systems and access restrictions are identified in the agreed scope. Ordinary troubleshooting and upgrade work includes appropriate checks; IMS Verify is available for a focused, documented performance study.
Built to be supported
Operators and maintenance bring production knowledge, observations and authorized machine checks. They stay involved in the work and understand what changed.
Technicians appointed by the plant use agreed documentation, diagnostics and access. Their role is defined, not assumed to be provided by IMS.
Converting-machine judgment, cross-system troubleshooting, controls work and planned remote or onsite support when deeper expertise is needed.
Agree the readable programs, diagnostic screens, editable IMS-developed files, backups, current revision and practical guidance included in the handover. Identify software requirements and OEM or third-party restrictions.
A walk-through with the people who will use that information matters as much as the file transfer. Follow-on support can be arranged without making the plant dependent on one person for every check.

Start with the problem
You do not need a finished diagnosis or a service package. Tell me what is happening, and we will establish the right next step.
Send Nick the ProblemRemote and onsite work by arrangement.
